Hinge Sizing

• Hinge size is designated with two numbers:
  • the first number is the height of the the hinge, not including the hinge tips (finials)
  • the second number is the width of the hinge when it is open
  • for example, a 3" x 2-1/2" hinge is 3" high and 2-1/2" wide when open
